The New York register ATI reads carries no separate apprentice-tier credential for electricians; its ladder for this trade starts at Journeyman (804 active records, read September 16, 2026). Registered apprentices in the county table above are counted from the federal apprenticeship system, not from the licence register.
Credential types the No statewide electrician license and no state electrical board. Neither the NYS Department of State Division of Licensing Services nor the NYS Education Department Office of the Professions lists electrician among the occupations it licenses.
