The Vermont register ATI reads carries no separate apprentice-tier credential for HVAC technicians; its ladder for this trade starts at Journeyman (5 active records, read September 16, 2026). Registered apprentices in the county table above are counted from the federal apprenticeship system, not from the licence register.
Credential types the No Vermont HVAC or air conditioning contractor license. The Department of Public Safety, Division of Fire Safety licenses the fuel and electrical pieces of HVAC work through gas installer certifications, oil burner installer licenses and electrical and plumbing specialist endorsements.
