| Requirements | Journeyman: 4-year program (min 576 classroom hours) or 16,000 apprenticeship hours, plus 6,000 hours as licensed apprentice, written + 6-module practical exam. Residential Journeyman: 2-year program (min 288 hours) or 8,000 apprenticeship hours plus 3,000 residential hours, written + 4-module practical. Master: multiple pathways (engineering/applied-science degree or 8,000+ journeyman hours) plus law/rule exam. |
