Corrections

When a licensee or a reader reports a mismatch, we check it against the issuing register and log every change with a source-linked history. Because our tables are rebuilt every night from the registers, a correction holds durably only where the register agrees or where we hold a documented suppression, and we say which applies.

Report a correction

Email [email protected] with the license number, the state, and what is wrong. We check it against the issuing register, correct the figure where it is warranted, and record who reported it and when.

How a correction is shown

A corrected figure is labeled distinctly from ordinary nightly movement, so a reader can always tell a data fix from a real-world change on the register. Nothing is edited silently.

When the register itself is wrong

Where a state board publishes an error we cannot reconcile, the register's value stands until the board corrects it or a documented suppression is in place, and we tell the person who reported it which applies. The fastest fix is usually with the issuing board directly.
