| Requirements | Plumber in Training: less than 8,000 hours experience, works under direct supervision of a licensed master or journeyman. Journeyman: document a minimum of ~4 years / substantial experience and pass a written exam. Master: ~12,000 hours of plumbing work experience; competent to design plumbing systems; document experience and pass a written exam. Certain plumbing work is exempt from licensure under W.Va. Code 21-14-3(c). |
